In my opinion BA has simply lost its desire to service their clients. One cannot blame the staff alone, management has to put an emergency plan in place to retrain their staff, both ground and cabin.Today there are choices flying out of South Africa, ba will never be one of mine again.

Flew back from South of France first class. Very disappointed with the state of cabin. Very tired looking. Service was ok but not worth the extra cost.
