    Outstanding quality at the price. Close to SLR performance at the time and very good lens, Rest is SLR quality. Tough fast camera for the field use, common batteries and chips. The Minolta Dimage 7i outperformed the competitors at that time in my opinion. Also IR photography compatible.

    I had one of the first 7i's on sale....it's been almost 7 months I've had the 7i...I haven't noticed it thrashing the batteries at all...but I am using 1850 and 2000 ma, image is dangerously close to 35mm and I've astounded many with some of the images...I owned a Nikon 950 that was brill...but thra ...

    I cannot speak highly enough of this Minolta Dimage 7i digital camera and I am now a digital convert. The quality of pictures is outstanding and the ease of taking exceptional pictures has found me clicking at basically anything that moves.
