The Breville Hot Cup... I'd wanted 1 of these for AGES! Got it home, all excited, but... it took what seemed ages to boil, then when dispensing water it's INCREDIBLY noisy, it could be heard from garden! I then went on to research the product, came across this site, and see that everyone is saying ...

AAAArggghhh its useless . I have only just bought it and its going back.
Only fills half a mug then have to wait for it to boil again to fill it to the top, then it overfills. Useless useless useless. There rant over going to get my moneyback.

After reading reviews on The Breville Hot Cup I had a few doubts as to it's suitability.
    I love it!!!
Unlike the Tefal version, it heats the water to boiling point, a bit noisy but so fast that it isn't a problem.
The fact that the water tanks holds more than 1 mug is useful.
With the correct size o ...

brilliant idea for a kettle but has a severe design fault with the drainage system to the drip tray, drainage channel is no-where near the drip tray causing a large amount of excess water to leak over work tops, we did try plugging the holes with blue tack to stop this but the water still seeps out. ...

I boughgt this Breville Hot Cup because I have joint problems and it's brilliant except that the automatic lid is not so automatic as I have to pull the lid up and that defeats the object of buying this item. I have returned my hot cup for replacement while it is under guarantee but what happens wh ...

So far I think this Breville Hot Cup is really good, my cups seem fine, for those who's cup run over, get a bigger cup, or "mug",
I got this as I live alone, and one cup at a time is spot on. Looks good, and does what you need.

I am disabled and found lifting an ordinary kettle difficult and dangerous. I love the Breville it solves all my problems and unlike its competitor, my drink is boiling too. A jug is needed for most of my mugs to catch the excess water but that is easily dealt with. No drips, splashing or problems. ...

I was a bit unsure as to whether to order this breville hot cup because so many previous reviews all seemed to make the same comment that 250ml of hot water is too much for a tea cup. I have measured our cups and mugs and they are all in the range of 280-350. Because of this I decided to go ahead an ...

Much as i love the Breville Hot Cup, i have to agree with others it is not so good for people who want milk in their tea and coffee, i have to have a jug at the side of it to catch the water thats not needed, if only it was like the tefal i had when i could stop it when i had enough water

Have had this Breville Hot Cup for 2 months now and like it. 250ml a bit too much for standard mugs if you like to add milk. The resovoir could be bigger too as it needs frequent refilling in our coffee addict house.Very stylish and eco-friendly tho and makes a satisfying coffee maker like noise.
