    I was a bit disappointed with the Session Pro DD506.

    Sounds are not realistic.
    Cymbals quiet and unrealistic.
    Hi-hat pedal way too quiet.
    Doesn't have the fun feel of an acoustic drum kit.

    Its ok for a practice drum kit but when you really want to play something that sounds good then it goes a bit ...

    On the whole the Session Pro DD506 is a good practise kit, but if you take it out you need to give it constant maintenance. If you can afford it go for a Yamaha DTXpress or the equivalent Roland.

    Session Pro DD506 fits easily in a small room, looks good, drum pads are good and the overall construction is very sturdy. Cymbals are not very good especially the hi hat which has to be hit very hard to get a sound so you mainly hear the thud of the sticks on the pad. Also the hi hat control pedal ...
