    Cecilia Ahern never fails to deliver inspiring and touching novels, and The Gift is no exception.

    Although I liked the characters and insight shown regarding each of their different lifestyles, I found the story depressing and very sad throughout the book. I like her writing but this one is not for me..too sad and depressing.

    Personally, i wouldn't reccomend this book. I admire Cecilia Ahern as a young writer, but find her extensive use of flowery language very drawn out and hard to enjoy reading the story.
