    1 year 3 months after purchase, I had a problem.. and I didn't purchase the extended warranty. When turning on the unit, the digital display would error out and also a smell of smoke.. Contacted LG, and the repair company they sent came to the house..looked at it and told me it was the mother boa ...

    We bought the LG LDF6810ST dishwasher because the sales person said it was good, it looked attractive and matched our other appliances. It worked perfectly for about 14 months.
