    This book probably comes into the category of 'fantasy', and Thomas P. Cox implies that his writing is influenced by authors such as Terry Pratchett and Robert Rankin. However it is set in the real world and apart from the time travel is quite believable.

    Thomas P. Cox's, Enlightenment is a bit of a rare treat and pleasent surprise for the humour books fans. It's a bit of a mixture of general fiction, sci-fi and fantasy but one thing it definitely is, is funny. You'll laugh most of the way through and the bits you aren't laughing, well, you've got to ...
