    We have had no major probs so far with Scotia Townbuilders but only been in house 6 months. Been happy with any minor defects getting fixed usually within a week of telling Scotia. Suppose only time will tell.

    Been in house nearly 2 years, very bad workmanship, flooded out through poorly fitted bathroom twice in two years resulting in us having to move out for 3 weeks to allow repairs to the house.     We paid a deposit for a Scotia Home in May 2008.We have been told 3 different entry dates, we have had to move plots 4 times, now to be told the development is 'unviable' but they will still keep our deposit and reservation fee.

    If I had the choice again, I would not buy a new Scotia home. We have been here for a year now and it does not feel like a new house, too many problems, some of which are still not 100%. Many minor niggly faults. Some were fixed fairly quickly but others were not. No great attention to detail, water ...
