    V206 claimed it was ideal for carpets/upholstery/stairs. Purchased on Mon/Tue 27/28/7/09 I used this Sunday (26) on my conservatory upholstery and was very disappointed cushion far too wet and did not soak up as advised on directions, thought this may be faulty but it turns out it wasn't.     We purchased the Vax Rapide Deluxe a few years ago and it seams to do the job quite well it is better than some other ones i used.
    it holds a fair amount of clean water but not that much dirty water it has a nice long hose which is great for stairs.
    i would recommend it
