I had rented a car through car rental.com and they used Targarent in Rome. I made my reservations back in Feb 25 2008 and my visa was charged 377.22 Euros for a deposit. We got a brand new car with only 38 km on the clock. The pick up office at Rome Arport is located beside all the other big copmanies (i.e. Hertz, Avis, etc), as is the area were you pick up and drop off the cars. The staff were very efficient and pleasant. We would use them again.
