Apparently poor design, very weak plastic parts. Mine did not last 6 months before the whisk, juicer, and finally the lock mechanism broke and it will not even start now! parts were replaced by Kenwood under guarantee but they just broke again

It is a shame that it seems that Kenwood haven't given more thought to the functionality of the FP920. The grating/slicing disks are positioned so far beneath the bottom of the feed chute that the last quarter of anything you attempt to process is dragged through the resulting gap and hurled into he ...
