    Compare the Market is complete rubbish - They DON'T do what it says on the tin. I could not see Aviva or Direct Line on the website, so I had to get a price from them. And guess what - Aviva was cheaper than the cheapest price on Compare the Market.

    Compare The Market is completely rubbish. I've spent 1 hour in that web site to get my home insurance done and I ended up with no company whatsoever giving me a quote. The worst came after, I started to receive 10 calls a day from different insurers as the guys from comparethemarket are quite quick ...

    Compare The Market is terrible. If you agree to their terms and conditions you are agreeing to allow them to pass your details on to a company called Leadex who will give you nuisance phone calls, whether you bought a policy or not. A disgrace.

    Compare The Market doesn't have a clue about data protection. Be prepared to to be bombarded with e-mails when you sign-up with them.     I did get van quotes from Compare The Market but they had so many variables ie excess, cover, recovery, contents etc and they were always buy now special deals.
