I've used this philips hd6161 fryer for 3 yrs on a regular basis. I do not drain the oil in the reservoir between usage, just cleaning basket and limited splatter from casing and panel. Oil heats up reasonably fast and return to heat quickly. The only problem I have with machine is draining old oi ...
