Ive owned the Advent 5401 laptop for just over a year, one morning whilst doing some work on it the screen just went blank. Bought this laptop August 2008 and guess what, 2 months out of warranty the motherboard is broken and PC world want £229 to replace it! Does there seem to be a common theme between this and the later complaints. Are the people who were so pleased with their new computer as thrilled now??

after 15 months the graphics went and had to have it repaired, not happy i expected it to last a lot longer than that since talking to other people about it another one of my freinds had the same trouble after 13 months, not a good advert for advent !!!!
