    I just cancelled an AIG Homeowners Insurance policy about half way through a year and was told that there was no refund due on the remaining 6 months because it was entirely eaten up by the cancellation charge, which is pretty poor in my opinion. I wouldn't use or recommend them again.

    I spoke with AIG and received a quote that I then chose to cancel, before the date the insurance was due to start.
