  For the occasional use, where noise and weight could be an issue, and used with experience, I consider the Black & Decker GKC1817-GB to be quite a capable alternative tool. Value for money, well could be a touch cheaper. Buyers must be aware that a Chainsaw used incorrectly, is very dangerous. And ...

  Don't be fooled into thinking this Black & Decker GKC1817-GB Cordless Chainsaw is a useful tool. My loppers are far better at cutting 2" stuff. For cutting firewood the saw struggles as chances are that you'll be cutting 3"-4" stuff. It gets through - just - but battery life is hopeless.
