    I have 350 euros in Thomas Cook travellers cheques. Went to the local office to cash them for euros. They offered me 285 euros!!! They say on the wallet "we'll buy back any left over travellers cheques commission free". How can they get away with that?

    I would be very wary of ever using Thomas Cook travellers cheques again based on a recent experience while on holiday in Turkey. My cheques were lost / stolen on the morning I arrived and it proved very difficult to cancel the cheques, partly because the wrong numbers were printed on my receipt, and ...
