    Do not buy this Dewalt DW718 Double Bevel Compound Slide Mitre Saw, shoddy construction and over priced. Unpleasant and dirty in use. Could have purchased a professional saw for same money. Had to learn the hard way.

    OK for site work. But, a little disappointed in this offering from DeWalt. My smaller DW707 is very sturdy, which this saw lacks and I find a lot of movement in the saws rigidity when stressed even slightly. It leads to some run-out on cuts decreasing the accuracy of cuts.     Engineers say if it ain't broke don't fix it. So why then did Dewalt discontinue the tried tested and amazing DW708 and replace it with a down grade?
