Just returned from a wonderful midweek break with my husband and my 3 year old son. We found the accomodation fantastic, people very friendly and superb value for money.(We booked 1 week before).

Very nice accomodation but unpractical with 2 little ones. The stair gates had amind of their own. No radio, no iron / ironing board. No washing machine. We've just been to Bluestone mid-August. Great place and lovely lodges but don't like the wetrooms - The whole floor is soaked and if you go back in once you're dressed you get soaking wet feet. Fantastic stay. We stayed at Calday lodge by a lake. We went with some friends. The swimming pool was brill. It had three water slides, rapids and a wave machine.
