    reliable for many years now. I have had it for over 10 years and it has never given any problems. It is economical on ink and cheap cartridges are readily available.     The HP Deskjet 940c is an efficient little thing, replaced it only because it is now about 6 years old. Make sure you install the printer software first before you connect the printer to the computer!

    Print quality appears better than some newer models
    I've had my printer for over 4 years, have printed 1,000s of documents, excellent dependability, quality printing and very reasonably priced when new. Well recommend HP Deskjet 940c.

    Like many HP Deskjet printers before it (eg. Deskjet 850C, 930C) and others following it (eg. Deskjet 3820) the Deskjet 940C uses HP's tried and tested technology to produce good quality prints economically.

    The HP Deskjet 940c printer is a good all rounder and the ink lasts!! Whether it be sharp photography prints or churning out pages of text its A1!!

    Very reliable printer for the two years I have owned it from new. Nothing broke and prints were good all the time, even the red ones when the ink started to run short!

    If you had asked me a couple of days ago what I thought of the printer, I would have given it 9 stars overall. A printer that only last 7 months is not a good value. Maybe I just got a lemon, but HP's short warranty makes fixing a relatively inexpensive printer ($140.00) cost prohibitive. I'll be ...

    The HP deskjet 940c is a great inkjet printer which is easy to use, gives excellent quality (even on plain paper) and is good value for money.
