    It leaks consistenly and the grey moulding under the weight has broken twice, altogether bad design and poor quality

    bought this a few weeks ago the 6litre stainless steel one. have had no problems bringing it to pressure and cooks meat perfectly in a 1/3 of the time. also the stainless steel pot allows you to brown the meat in the same pot keeping all the flavour in the one pot. at £49 it was the cheapest ...

    I have replaced all the seals. The plastic grey moulding under the pressue cooker weight.

    It comes up to pressure when I cook potatoes but will not come up to pressure when cooking tomato based food. Heap of rubbish.

    The Prestige Smartplus Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker 6lt does exactly as it says on the box, very easy to use, good instructions, really good cookery book. Who ever said that these models are rubbish is totally wrong.

    We were forced to go the stainless steel route due to old aluminium model not working on new induction hob. No problems with the unit having used for the past year. We replace the main seal on a regular basis and pay around £4 for the spare in local store.

    We imported this unit in to NZ some time ago and the whole lot was sold to a supermarket chain. We have had no complaints about the cooker. No phone calls or inquiries about problems.

    Very poor build quality. Leaks and will not achieve full pressure. Returned for refund.

    Very confusing trying to obtain a genuine all-stainless steel type. Even Tesco Direct show a picture of one I could swear was all-SS, but it isn't! Lots of other suppliers don't even know either.The current fad for using a fusible metal safety valve isn't to my favour, I'll just hope Prestige (Meyer ...
