    The cabin and bathroom were very shabby but bed clean and comfortable The carpets throughout the ship were stained and needed deep cleaning. The was little variety of food and some dishes were overcooked to toughness, beef and chicken for example; however, quantity ensured adequate nourishment. T ...

    Arrived at the Ra I for a Nile Cruise on 6th April 2009 for four nights.
    Rate this boat as a 3* certainly not 5*
    Re own moorings - only at Luxor
    At Aswan moored alongside RA11
    Otherwise moored alongside several boats

    My Nile cruise (12-15th Dec) aboard RAV-1 ship was very disappointing. Eastmar advertises RAV-1 ship as a 5* cruise but I am curious to know by what criteria can this be classified as a 5* cruise.
