As a general rule I always dye my hair a shade or two darker than my natural colour. For a change I decided to go a little lighter than my naturally medium brown hair. I used Clairol Nice 'n' Easy Light Ash Brown to get somewhat close to my natural hair color and I love it! it looks just like it was suppose to, wasn't blotchy, looks like I got professionally done.. I bought this to dye back to my natural colour, it made my hair a light shade of ginger, whilst in the porcess, it stung badly and smelt revolting. Afterwards I was disappointed that it wasn't the colour it had claimed to be. Only good points is that it left my hair feel very soft afterwards.
