Don't buy a Bosch ART26 ACCUTRIM if you want a strimmer. Useless for anything which you need strimmer for - the blades break off at the slightest hint of anything solid.

This strimmer uses Ni-Cad battery technology which is prone to "memory" effect if it is not fully charged & then discharged regularly. My battery died in the first year & the replacement battery is > £50. Previously I had a FLYMO cordless strimmer & this lasted for years!

Battery on my Bosch ART26 ACCUTRIM was rubbish, it only lasted 6mths never kept receipt so B&Q and Bosch did not want to know battery cost nearly as much as new strimmer also plastic cutting bades break off with smallest contact with fence or plant stems.Bosch collected battery then tried to charge ...

Very disappointed with my Bosch strimmer. Battery hasn't even lasted one year. Battery doesn't last long and costs as much as the purchase price of the strimmer about £50
