The Binatone Carrera X350 takes long routes to get you there. Roads not on the map, even motorways not on the map. Don't buy!

I bought Binatone Carrera X350 on sale at Argos for £69 in March 2009. I should have been tipped off by the fact that it was on Argos No Return list.

It got me lost on numerous occasions, difficult and slow to load and often very inaccurate. This is my 6th SatNav, first and last Binatone. Aw ...

Love the Binatone Carrera, did'nt cost much, you can run other gps software on it as it's a Windows CE5 device, just get a 2gig SD card and copy the windows explorer.exe file to the root of the card. There is a lot more info on the web if you search for it.Anyone who runs this device down is a fool. ...

The Binatone Carrera X350 is a very poor sat nav even for the money . Consistently tries to take us from A roads onto cart tracks . I bought it for use when towing the caravan , but the best use for it is as a coaster for my tea when we arrive after navigating with a map.

When it works it sometimes works well. But getting the Binatone Carrera X350 to switch on can take ages, up to an hour!!

The Binatone Carrera is cheap, reliable, easy to you and if you know what you are doing, you can ditch the onboard software and run Tomtom 7 on it instead! It also plays Mp3s if you install a player and some music onto an SD card, bargain!
Can take some time to get a satellite fix when used from col ...

I think the Binatone Carrera X350 is okay for around £40 but anything more and I'd stick with a map and a post it note until tom toms are virtually given away. I'ts a windows ce platform hence you can forget the stuff on it and install tom tom with about 30 mins surfing (apparently) ;-)

please please look for their website before buying, if you have some other software to put on it and you can get it cheaper than £40 it might be worth the hassle.

Binatone Carrera X350 is neat cheap and pretty much does what it says on the box. Not nearly as good as a tom tom but also not nearly as epensive
The Silly woman tells you to go right but the picture says straight on - if in doubt follow picture not the voice!
Also the post code finder is pretty rub ...

The Binatone Carrera X350 got me from Gloucestershire to Liverpool with total ease. Put it onto 3D setting and it was a doddle!

Being an apprentice i have a small budget for luxury items, so for such a small price this unit was ideal!
Definatley worth the money i paid (somewhere between £40 ...
