I really enjoyed my trip to Chillfactore. But feel you have to take it for what it is, not a real mountain! but a brilliant place to get a snow fix off season and stop technique getting too rusty.
Friday July 11th 2-3.30 was cool, both lifts open, queued for couple of minutes tops. Plenty of space t ...

I haven't been skiing in about 6 years so I booked onto a refresher course. This was definitely the best choice as my instructor was able to help improve and remember how it was done. I went off-peak (2-4) and the slopes were almost empty. No queues for the lift and no real queues for the equipment ...

This is my 10th Time there now and only once have the main slope been remotely icy. For those people that keep moaning about it, grow a pair and realise that its Snow all year round for practice and play and not some horrible giant 'brilo' pad of an outdoor slope. Yes it costs money but when you ca ...

Experience of an all day snow-boarding lesson.
Dependent on time of day, set off in good time. I arrived with 30mins to go and "just" got onto lessons in time. The traffic getting off M60 to Chill Factor can be very slow. Equipment rental queues were slow, boots were very comfortable, instructor sen ...

Having seen feedback on this site I took the well given advice to arrive well in advance to get sorted with ski's and boots. I arrived to find it very quiet but within 5min of collecting my ski's I saw the rush of people arrive. So I can see how people could become irrate at the disorganised queuing ...

My point is that there should have been more than 1 staff member especially as the queue was getting longer. I didn't complain at that time because i didn't want my husband's father's day to be spoilt. Then my husband became irrate because ignorant people were just stepping on the weighing machine ...

Learnt to snowboard here, have not found it difficult to find anything whatsoever. Staff are always helpful. Have no idea why people find it hard where to go. It's pretty obvious!

Visited chill factor twice. First time on a Saturday. My girlfriend had to wait 20 minutes for basic skis as none were available. Large queues meant only managed about 5 runs in 1 and a half hours. Next time girlfriend took children but when she reached the top of the drag lift the emergency stop wa ...
