Have had mine for almost a year, first Sony Ericsson W380i phone packed in after a week. Was replaced, second one has been in twice to get fixed. Battery keeps dying, and front screen stopped working. Cant get a signal anywhere slightly remote. Emergency calls only, continuously.

Ive had two Sony Ericsson W380i - the first one the screen on the front stopped working and i couldnt hear people on it... then i must admit i broke it... but then i brought another one and this one keeps turning its self off.... ... a big waste of money!!

I have had two of the Sony Ericsson W380i phones in quick succession. The first one would not pick up a signal in my house, though other mobiles work. Vodafone changed it for another which was even worse. It has had a software upgrade and the antenna changed, and it still said 'Emergency calls on ...

Overall as a phone the w380i is pretty good, and if your on a budget then its good, but as a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone it's probably one of their worst. When you compare it to the 2 MP camera of the w880i, or the screen resolution of the w910i, its rubbish to be honest.

I have only had the phone for 3 weeks and I am a little disappointed with SE software, it seems a little clumsy compared with other manufacturers. The ring volume and organiser alert really need improving and this has put me off SE phones. For basic functions it is as good as any other phone.

The Sony Ericsson W380i has nice general options and i also like the idea that SE had with this one except it has some minors what makes me feel like selling it back to someone else and it hasn't been a week yet since i've got her......

I think the Sony Ericsson W380i has poorly designed software. Also, because the phone is "so new", there are no technicians trained to fix it. Very upset.
