I bought my atomic silver ZZR 1400 brand new after trading in the ZX9 in May 09. I've only covered 2000 miles on it so far but this is machine that ticks all the boxes for me. The below 5000 revs issue has gone, it is responsive and feels lighter to ride than my old ninja I'm guessing because all th ...

Having always owned the Worlds fastest production superbikes it was a toss up between the Hyabussa and the 2009 ZZR1400. I never liked the riding position on the Hyabussa so I test piloted a 2008 model Kawasaki ZZR1400; pretty awesome, so bought the Candy green 2009 ABS model I had been eyeing up (& ...

The Kawasaki ZZR 1400 is a verry nice bike to ride. Excellent for rider and passenger, smooth through gears and a nice feel on the road.

I am extremely happy with this bike, I used to have a blackbird which was good but the zzr is great. I would not think of changing it for anything.

After 4 years on a Blackbird I have just run in my new ZZR 1400. First Kwakker I've had. Bikes pre Blackbird have been Triumph Daytona 955, Bandit12, Bandit6 and (20 years ago) the original CB 750 having learnt on a 250 Super dream. So, fairly 'Hondarised'. The Blackbird was/is excellent. Faultless ...

Sold a '99 Blackbird and bought a new 56 1400. Took it abroad with the missus and all the luggage (Germany/Austria/Italy/France). What a pain. To overtake from 70mph in top I had to drop a gear or two to get anything out of it. No guts at all below 5000rpm. Handling much more focussed than the 'Bird ...
