This Hoover DM4494 was our first bagless cleaner, but what a disappointment. It clogs up very easily and then has a tendency to overheat. This means a frustrating wait for it to cool down before it will turn on again. In fact we did wonder if our particular machine was faulty, but apparenthly n ...

This Hoover DM4494 is not practically designed for regular housework around a house of any size, though it might do for a small flat. The change-over from carpet to tool mode is awkward and involves a lot of bending. The motor seems to run very warm and when it cuts out through extended running time ...
