Ate here on a Sat lunch time with two young children. I couldn't belive how bad the food was. The kids both had Saus and mash..the saus was ok, but the mash dry and hard. Visited here last night (Tues) about 6pm. Not many people in. Server was quite attentive but need 2 reminders to clean table mess from previous occupants. We visited the Feilden Arms on a Sunday evening, about 5pm. They had very good value for money specials menus, running alongside the every day menu. From what I can remember it was 2 courses for £9 menu that we went for. They also had traditional Sunday specials.

Stopped at the Feilden's Arms, Mellor for a meal on Sunday afternoon (July 2009) on our way back from a day out.
