We visited Benares Indian Restaurant with one other family. The host asked the quantity of food in one of the few appetizers and the waiter curtly told him to order ahead and he will tell him if the order was ok. I asked if there are any authentic dishes on the menu (not having rosemary or risotto) ...

I had the tasting menu and it was fantastic. All courses were beautifully presented and a delight to eat. I cannot believe that someone is suggesting that a McDonald's would have been preferable! Please do not go to Benares Indian Restaurant, I am taking the time to write this review so that you do not waste your money on what I can only describe as unauthentic, overpriced and tasteless food.
