    I am thinking of buying an ST 1100 I ride a 2007 VT 750 a great bike around town .BUT to small for long runs I am only 6' 2" tall .I need a bigger frame Bike and Honda's just never say die...

    I bought my 2001 ABS/TCS/CBS ST1100 a couple of years ago - it spent its life as a police covert traffic motorcycle, and as you would expect has been serviced correctly, and has been run 8+ hours per day, everyday.     I have tried Honda Goldwings before and they seem a bit big and heavy for my use. I love the look and feel of the Honda ST1100. It is light and very responsive for a touring bike.

    I did not like this bike when I first purchased it in 2000. But now after 8 years of ownership I wouldnt have any other bike out there.
    I guess this machine has me spoiled.

    Well I've been riding all sorts of bikes since I was 17 I'm now 36 and was told when I bought my Pan that it was an old man's bike. I was 30 then and must say it's the best 6 years of riding I've had. I paid £4500 for a 1997 model with 17.000 miles on the clock. Like I say that was 6 years ago ...
