    On arrival at Holm House the maitre D took our coats which it later transpired I wish he hadn't. The overall temperature was cool. We were shown through to the bar area and I saw a great expanse of bar which took most of the room, and would have suited one of the many pubs down Cardiff Bay. We were ...

    We stayed in Steepholm for a christmas treat to ourselfs, the suite itself was spectacular. What I wasn't expecting was the change in myself & my wife; we both agreed it was definitley the place to fall in love, we left feeling relaxed & recharged after our two nights of luxuary.     Holm House in Penarth is really great for a weekend away from it all. Superb accomodation, with great food, service and attention to detail could not have been bettered. We will go again when we visit Wales.
