An excellent hotel with good quality staff. Ask Atlantic Holidays for a "Garden View" room and you will get a sea view. However, most sea view rooms are located in the curve near the Atlantic and those rooms tend to be suites. For clients in a "room" they are unlikely to have a view of the sea but ...

We paid £300 to get a sea view at the Funchal, Pestana Casino Park Hotel,and failed to obtain this despite booking one in the UK by their own travel agency, Atlantic Holidays.
My advice to you would be - avoid this operator and hotel at all costs.
