Having found only one review of the Thule 973 BackPac, thought I should add to it. Although it's quite expensive and heavy, this is an excellent carrier, it's way more stable than those with endless straps. You can open the boot (with bikes removed) and is quick to fit (although it does take a whi ...

We've just got back from East Anglia and used this to transport our bikes.
The Thule BackPac was a good carrier (we used it on a Vauxhall Zafira), but I found it blocked the rear view a bit too much for my liking.
Anywho, I'd still recommend it to others.
