I cannot accept the reviewer who gave ten points and said that all is forgiven it is now a wonderful attraction. We were extremely bored and bemused - tried unsuccessfully to find what we believed must be the rest of the experience, following the entry into the courtyard, but there really was nothin ...

To the people who visited Dickens World when it first opened, it was having a few problems, now I suggest you give it another go. It is a lot better and has a lot to offer, don't just visit Dickens World but visit Porters restaurant to, great food and great atmosphere and service, best day out ever ...

Waste of time, money and sadly left my children feeling very bored and very let down. Please print all of this as families need to be aware that this place in my experience is a real disappointment.

I have just come back from a holiday and whilst on holiday after hearing so much about Dickens world I thought I would like to go. We went on the 3rd September, actually it was a birthday treat for my husband. Well, we actually got there even though the signposts for Dickens World were non existent ...

We had a brilliant time at Dickens World, I really feel some people have lost the art of using their imagination, as a teacher this was a great way of getting my 13 year old and eight year old into Dickens again, we spent six hours here and even hubby loved it, a theme park this is not, if you expec ...

The shows were absolutely rubbish but the haunted house was good to watch. The boat ride was the best thing to do, its slow at the begging but when you get to the top you go along for a bit then go throw some doors and turn around so the drop is at the back of you and you so hold on to the person yo ...

With such a great space, such a pity that there was nothing to do when inside. The boat ride was a waste of time could have had things to see as you went round , Haunted house was not a haunted house but a few windows of stories which were badly timed as you walked through ! Play was poor and far to ...

Sort of enjoyed parts of it but generally we felt it was too preachy and not entertaining enough. No obvious start to the experience, you just get thrown into a dark room (in our case through a no entry door as we had a pushchair) and left to find your bearings. I was expecting more than one main ro ...

My 8 year old daughter really wanted to go Dickens World, so I showed her the bad reviews, however she still wanted to go so we went on Tuesday 12th August. There was no waiting time to get in which was great, a lot of the bad reviews mentioned long queues. The two lady actors in the haunted house w ...
