    Have had a Dyson DC05 for a number of years and still functions well. However, have had to replace practically all accessories and am now on to my 3rd stair tool!

    The Dyson DC05 good machine. Only problem in 6 years was to replace the cable. No instructions from Dyson, but great instructions on this site

    very reliable hoover had it since it first came out.bought another dyson dc11 not as good as dc05.

    I have purchased 2 of these dc05 for home and business and both have had this problem at similar intervals. I have replaced the tubes on both 3 times now. Therefore this is a great design spoilt totally by a poorly designed component and I would suggest that no-one buys this product until this inher ...

    Good start for the Dyson DC05 in the first year and now going down hill. I am now using the stair tool to hoover main living areas due to the floor tool not picking up anything and keeping the suction. I feel very let down by this model! Storage a problem also - it is too big.

    Any cleaner that lasts over a year in our house is amazing. We had a period of changing vacuums every 6 months because they lost suction or broke. This one has lasted around 6 years.     Don't buy a Dyscon DCO5. Buy another make for a third of the price and be happy. Try Panasonic.
