Any online banking service, like TD Canada Trust Internet Banking, that goes down, and stays down all day, when important banking is to be done, deserves a low score.

All I ask for from TD Canada Trust Banking is to ensure that the cheque is posted on the account in order that I can view it on easy web. 1/2 the time this is never done and it can take days and hours on the phone in order to get it. Early 2008 TD changed their policy re Quicken downloads. Went thru much frustration before Quicken tech service informed me of their change of Policy. I would have liked TD to have informed me of any changes. Lack of this support will make me consider a change in Personal Banking.

Overall, TD Canada Trust is not the bank for me. I believe that RBC is the best of all the banks and they help their clients with the bevst of their abilities.

The TD Canada Trust web site was completely down for an entire day on August 13. Very unusual - and frustrating. It lost some of the positive aspects of Canada Trust by permitting poor practices to dominate.
