As a new mum I was looking for some assurance that when I left my litlle girl upstairs napping i would be able to leave her with confidence but, i am sorry to say that the Tomy Walkabout Classic's did not allow me to feel this. Although they are easily portable with batteries and a large waste clip ...

We were brought our Tomy Classic baby monitor as a gift before our little girl was born and when we tried it out it was great......But now our daughter is here we have had no end of trouble with them. We only had them for 2 weeks before our daughter was born and only used them that once, so how can ...

My Tomy Walkbout Classic kept cutting out, losing pairing, and susseptible to interference.

Just awful. 20 years ago when was a child, we used to have a pair of kids walkie talkies that me and my mates played with. We never seemed to have half of the problems with those that we have had with the To ...

I bought a Tomy walkabout classic because they were an established brand and it had all the features I required in a baby monitor. I found that the monitor worked well for a certain amount of time and then the interference that first started occurring sporadically and rarely became more and more fre ...

I wouldn't recommend the Tomy Walkabout Classic baby monitor. We bought it based on the Tomy brand, but we have had terrible trouble with it. We have found it frustrating to use and generally unreliable.

The Tomy Walkabout Classic is a brilliant monitor which does what it says on the box. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you live in a house with thick granite walls and have a lot of wireless equipment which can interfere with other types of monitor. Much better than any digital. The ...

I would have to say that Tomy Walkabout Classic is a total waste of money. It worked quite well for about 3 weeks and now hardly operates at all either on battery or on mains. Intereference is absolutely dreadful and sometimes no reception at all can be achieved even if you are in the room next do ...

The Tomy Walkabout seemed to be a cheap and cheerful option and was so for home use. It works great in my home and garden 30ft long but in Hotels its not reliable due to its tendency to lose signal within buildings.

Tomy Walkabout Classic - Price is good considering all others charge an arm and a leg just for something that receives and transmits sound! Compact enough to be used as a portable monitor. Nice idea to have a button so you can communicate to your baby, but be real, if your baby cries... speaking thr ...

I don't think I could fault the Tomy Walkabout Monitor. It has now seen me through my second child and it has never let me down. Not once have I had any interference and it picks up the slightest sound. The volume goes from 0-10 but we have had it on 6 at the highest and that is with the receiver ou ...
