DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON The Tomy Walkabout Premier Advance, it has caused me more sleepless nights that the baby! The interference is so intense, it sounds like a hundred angry moths trying to get out of a paper bag! By the time you can vaguely recognise your baby's murmurs beyond this, it's too lat ...

The temperature seems to read higher due (I think) to the monitor being close to the ...

I paid £20 for my first baby monitor by Tomy and it was no good, I couldn't hear my baby clearly and there was too much interference. So I bought the Tomy walkabout for £39.99 and within a few months we had the same problem. I'll be going for a different brand next time.

We have had the monitor for 2 years, and have found it to be fantastic. We have it on level 2 out of 10, which is easily enough to hear our daughter crying. We haven't found any problems with reception, and we take the Tomy Walkabout Premier Digital monitor outside in the summer, and it's great. ...

The interference you get on the Tomy Walkabout Premier Digital baby monitor is often so bad you cannot hear your baby cry. I found it difficult to pick up a channel which didn't pick up every other baby monitor on the street. The clarity is also poor; even on its highest setting I could hear my bab ...
