I'm a proud owner of this masterpiece since two years now and shot abot 6,00 rounds.
I've heard about its outstanding quailities but I've never thought it will really be as good - aczually, I think it's even better than most think it is.
I am a hunter by heart and I was looking for a quiet, yet powe ...

Unusual mechanism of this side-lever, spring-piston causes the entire receiver to move back in opposition to the spring and piston at them moment of the shot, thus cancelling out any recoil. The result is a rock-solid telescopic sight-picture, unlike all other spingers, in which the sight-picture mo ...

After hunting with a Model 48 for years, the Model 54 is a revelation. For the first time, there is no scope black-out at the moment of placing the shot! For the first time with a magnum spring-piston I can see exactly where I hit (or missed) my target.

This is the most accurate airgun I have shot yet. Within the first 50 shots I was shooting sub 1/8th 3 shot groups at 20 yds from a bench. Thats an oblong hole and the gun is not even broken in yet. Before you say "my gun can do that" go out and try it first. Worth every penny. I used the crosman p ...

This 54 in .22 is a great pellet rifle! Accurate, plenty of thump, but not cheap but you get what you pay for, but then you don't want the low bid for brain surgery either.....Feed it RWS pellets and treat it right and it may outlive you Yes it weighs around 10 lbs ...only 10 ....if its too freak ...

You'll hit everything you aim at with this RWS Model 54 .22 cal. Marksmanship will become secondary to your simple enjoyment of the piece. I call it the Versaille Special, inspired by a terrible treaty, and the Germans indeed perfected the idea of the air rifle. The RWS 54 Air King is the specifi ...

Without a doubt the best made, most accurate springer available for under $2,000. I set pennies up at 25 yards and with iron sights can hit those 97 of 100 shots. When I first got mine I shot about 25 shots to sight it in, out of the 475 I had left in the first tin I took out 172 squirrel and 215 bi ...

Prepare to be spoiled! I purchased a 54 in .22 cal after a bad experience with a 48 (see my RWS 48 review) -- and after purchasing an RWS 350. All I can say is -- what a gun!As I said, this rifle WILL spoil you. The lack of felt recoil makes it almost seem like you're not firing at all. I have h ...

Overall well built but I would have liked to see the gun have less plastic on it. Overall it's a good plinking gun or hunter especially in .22 cal.

    It's a keeper

Ok, Here is my take on the 54 after 4 years of testing. The gun itself is extraordinarily well built and i've found my power level has maintained itself
through out approx. 5000 shots. The accuracy has changed little if at all and i have to date never cleaned the barrel with anything more than sev ...
