The Wolf Power 800 is good starting. Inexpensive base entry generator. Easy to carry In its first year of very light use the carb float retaining pin broke as did the automatic load (current) controlled throttle. The engine start/stop switch also fell apart. Many of the electrical connectors were l ...

The wolf power 800 stand by generator seems to run for ever on one tank of fuel, pretty quiet and can run large requesting appliances. I really like it despite the fact that it could do with slightly more power and perhaps it could also be a little bit more quiet.

Bought my Wolf 800 as back up in case of domestic power failure. On its arrival, I test started it, then just stored it in the garage. About 2 years later, I decided to use it whilst camping, but it wouldn't start. As I had failed to drain the petrol from the Carburettor and tank, the petrol had eva ...

This generator was bought in case of emergency due to domestic power cuts. On delivery I got it going to make sure it was ok, and foolishly then stored it in the garage, with petrol still in the tank and carburettor. About a couple of years later I decided to take it on a camping trip, but it would ...

I bought my generator last year as a back-up for caravanning. If my battery is failing in the van I will give it a few hours to Jazz up the battery a bit or run a TV. So far I have had no complaints about noise from other campers. I fired the Wolf Power 800 generator up and walked away, about 40 fee ...

You get what you pay for!
The Wolf 800 is a great DIY generator / very small emergency stand by generator (will run a few 60 watt light bulbs and a 400 watt heater when the power goes off).

If I could choose again, I would go for something with a larger output.

I have had one of these Wolf Power 800's now for 6 months, using it on many jobs on a new build project - it is not a pro standard, but for good DIYers works well for power tools - even had a 1200W router running off it. Only bad point really is the sparc plug lead - not great quality - but can be p ...

The filler cap on the Wolf Power 800 jammed on after one use - needed to use a vice to get it off. Omega replaced the cap for me under warranty. The unit sounds rough under partial load but once fully loaded is much sweeter. A bit noisy.
Good value and runs for several hours on a single fill. I ...
