My ALYX was absolute rubbish. Suction was very poor. I finally sent it to the tip when the exhaust filter wouldn't seat properly so it was recycling dust. This Alyx TC1182 has to be the worst, or correct me if you know of a better one, vacuum cleaner ever produced. How can a company like Hoover sell such rubbish there is more force coming out at the back than there is suction.

The cardboard box this Hoover Alyx came in was more useful.
No suction, noisy, filter clogs after 5 mins use, work of art getting to the filter. Wish I had never seen this machine - utterly useless and Hoover should be ashamed to put their name to this product.
