The Dyson Stowaway DC2 comes definitely recommended. It's amazingly powerful and efficient..thought my home was clean till I ran the Dyson over it, it's also super compact and looks great.also use it for the car with no problems.

My Dyson Stowaway DC20 is a great hoover that doesn't blow dust everywhere. Good for getting place cleaned up as it nice and powerful and looks neat

Overall I find the Dyson Stowaway DC20 a bad cleaner, very expensive and representing poor value for money - I would avoid! Suction seems OK but because of the brushes, it doesn't clean carpets well. It's also heavy for its size and surprisingly unmanoeuvrable.
