    The Performance Power PWR18VSGTA 18v Cordless from B & Q is great when it is peforming well, but alass the cordless battery does not last long and it fails to charge and I have not been able to find a replacent battery for this item.

    I would not have bought this item if I had known that, after 2 years, I am still trying to find the spare part! The strimmer hit a stone and the plastics holding it all together on the bottom broke.

    I believe that these Performance Power tools should be a permanent feature on the retail shelves.     The Performance Power PWR18VSGTA 18v Cordless strimmer is let down by the poor quality battery and charger, making it useless very quickly.

    Being lightweight, the Performance Power PWR18VSGTA 18v Cordless is particularly suitable for ladies and the elderly as there is no mains cable to get in the way, and you can get to every corner of the garden

    By not being able to replace the spool locating cover should the locating lugs break off ...
