    The Nikon D40x is a high quality camera at an affordable price. The viewer is clear and is very straight forward to operate. Fantastic photos with very little effort.

    A very nice all round DSLR. I have used this camera a lot over the past couple of years and it is a very nice camera to use.     Quality and colour is amazing. Well built and easy to use and hold. Perfect help with intuitive back display advising and pictorial view of shutters ans apperatures. Wonderful camera. Wonderful pictures. Worth every penny! Only bad point it there isn't a live view.

    The Nikon D40x good budget camera but nothing particularly special. There are better items out there. However at the moment there are some excellent Nikon factory reconditioned cameras for sale.     I've owned my Nikon D40x for almost 6 months now and I find it is a good and cheap everything combined SLR.
