My husband and I have an 8month old german shepherd. We have been feeding her large breed iams puppy food until this past saturday. I opened the bag and some of the food was moldy and there was bugs in it and something that looks like a maggot. Needless to say, we took our food back and demanded a r ...

My Vet gave me some Iams Veterinary Formula Intestinal Low-Residue dry food to try. Within 3 days her stool was mucus free and formed and within on ...

We have a 1-year-old Golden Retriever and a 10-year-old German Shepherd and they both eat the Iams Large Breed food and do beautifully on it. Our Golden Retriever was raised on the Iams Large Breed Puppy formula. They both have shiny, soft coats, firm stools, and have a ton of energy. To anyone s ...

I will never give my Boxers Iams again. Iams dog food gave them runny stool which they've never had before.

Our Springer Spaniel, was eating Alpha Puppy when we brought him home. We needed to change to something more available in the supermarket / shop, so changed to Iams, thinking that premium puppy food (with a premium price) must be the best.
After around a week or so we noticed there seemed to be a ...

The first ingredient in Iams Dog Food is Chicken (with water). Once the water is taken out during the manufacturing process, it falls down on the list. This means the primary source of protein in this feed is Corn Meal.I question this companies means of preservation. They seem very misleading (wh ...

My 13 yr. old lab/shepherd mix has always been fed Iam's Lamb and Rice dry food. Since last year, he got skin infections and has lost half the hair on his body. We thought it was just old age allergies (which he never had before), but the last trip to the vet turned on the light bulb. She asked if w ...

I'm surprised that people have had bad experiences with Iams Dog Food. Dogs always need time to adjust to a change in diet and this should really be done gradually. I feel that anyone giving this food a chance would find it to be excellent!

I've had my black lab on Iams for about 2.5 years starting with the puppy formula, then changed him to lamb and rice. Recently, as another reader stated, they did in fact do something to their formula and its been nothing but a nightmare since. His coat is dull and dry, itching all the time, he e ...
