I used to have Volusion shopping cart for my store before. But after transferred to 3dcart, sales drastically dropped 80%. Now after 6 months lots of efforts still very little significant progress. I have used several carts and this is one of the best I have found with out of the box functionality. Cart has many features that are included that you would have to pay for on other carts. This cart is easy to customize, however, their support people could be a bit more verbose with their answers ...

3Dcart have easy to use software but if a problem occurs then you are on your own! When it comes to 3Dcarts support team, they simply do not care. 3DCART 6/25/09 Very slow search within the site. If you have a customer and call in and ask about an item #, better call them back because it may take 3-4 minutes to find a known item # on your own site with the search. It is better to appear busy than slow. I have checked search times with another ...

We have two carts with 3dCart; one for a little over a year (still running 2.2 due to a migration glitch that cost us 5 days of downtime!), and a new cart in 3.0.

Its good to start up with them, but Ive been with them for 4 months and I have not had one purchase from online. Customers constantly complain that they cant navigate through the online store, or the get stuck in a page....
Therefore I do not recommend 3dcart.com
