    My parents have a patterdale - 11 years old now and grew up with my son of the same age, they are like best buddies.     My little Patterdale Terrier sadly had to be put to sleep at the age of six because of auto-immune disease (pemphigus). She was the most gentle creature who loved everyone she got to know, she never caused anyone any grief, she will be sadly missed , this breed is amazing.

    I have a Patterdale Terrier dog called Dalton. We called him that because he was born in the Lake District. He was very expensive but we coudn't ive without him! When we told my grandma she went "a DOG?!?" but now she acts like she loves him the most.

    Whilst Patterdales are brilliant pets I would only recommend them to confident , strong willed owners because they do have a mind of their own and strong training is essential and also they DO need off lead exercise and you need to be confident that your dog is going to come back you.     The Patterdale Terrier as a working dog i believe it is top terrier,as a family pet again top marks.i've found mine to very good with small children and other dogs,but any other pets forget it.if u live in the countryside this would be an excellent small dog for anyone who enjoys a good hours walk e ...

    i have 2 male patterdales, one is 4 year old and the other is 8 months. I am considering adopting two more male patterdales who are 6 month old but I am worried about them fighting. does anybody know if this is a good idea to have a pack of them?

    i have recently got 2 patterdale puppies and they are both lovely, it has only been 4 days and they have already masterd paper training. they are very loving dogs and i wouldnt swap them for anything!
