The Patterdale Terrier is quiet indoors, gets on on well with kids and other animals. Does not cast her hair. Obedient likes to play with kids and other dogs.
Although some terriers have a bad name our Patterdale is a lovely placid pet. She rarely barks and gets on with everyone and everything. ...

We have a Patterdale called Trigger, we acquired him when he was 1 year old and fell in love with him. He is a really nice looking dog, just the right size for our family, playful, funny and good with children, other dogs and he travels well. He does not lose much hair and does not smell 'doggy'.

She has a huge range of tricks and can learn a new trick in a day as she is really intelligent. Her only problem is sometimes running off when let ...

The best friend I have ever had. He was so loyal and friendly. I still see him sat with that doleful look. They tend to be a ...

I fell in love with a friend's Patterdale and when he sired a litter she gave me one of the pups. His dad was a bit of a thug and an uncontrollable hunter (possibly because he had been bred in hunt kennels) but his mother was a third generation family pet. Luckily Henri inherited his mothers traits ...

I chose a Patterdale, because they don't shed as much as other breeds, and don't have that 'doggy' smell, even though they are outdoors dogs. I found Lily very easy to train, not with shouting or hitting, but not with many treats either, she just has the will to please. I also chose a girl, becaus ...
