Can you believe that 11 days after the BOE rate reduction announcement the one account are still reviewing their rates. The staff are now as fed up as the customers it must be embarrasing for them working in a customer service role for a company that cares so little for its customers. Surely they ow ...

Extremely difficult to get information about interest rate decisions particularly online. Seems like they don't give a damn about their customers. Sick of hearing "decision under review". Will look forward to this delay when rates go back up!
I'm looking around for another mortgage provider as they ...

Would be the best product on the market it they were fairer and quicker to respond when there's rate cuts. Their rates go up the second the BOE rates increase, but don't always come down.

I'm getting so angry now. Although our experience from 2001 to earlier this year was good it has all been spoiled by the greed of the RBS.
I phoned this morning and was greeted by a pre-recorded message saying the situation was 'under review' - meanwhile our contributions to their wealth are racking ...

I am in a good position to comment on the Virgin One Mortgage having monitored mine closely since 1998 and seen the changes from Branson at the helm, to the joint venture with the RBS. I have the ultimate respect for "the man" and sang the praises of this mortgage to every one of my friends and coul ...

I have had a one account for 9 years and has previously raved about the account and recommended it to various people. As soon as it is viable for me to do so I will be moving away from the one account. During a conversation with their customer service team I was told that rates under review meant th ...

I have had this account nearly 9 years now, 8 of them have been excellent but they have now started ripping off customers by instead of passing on interest cuts asap they delay them and have even increased them!
RBS stopped robbing your customers. Bring back Branson!

Its a brilliant product, but was better before the Royal Bank of Scotland took over. Have saved thousands of pounds as this product allows extra income to offset my morgage and more importantly immediately prevents intrest on that sum accruing.

VirginOne should pass on the base-rate interest cuts to customers. NOW! Base-rate nterest rate cuts in 2008 are not being passed on....this is unacceptable. I previously would have rated Virgin One as a 10 - now it's a 1, and as soon as practicable we will review our current position for mortgage ve ...
